Plan Your Visit - Booking a Study Space
- Click on the Book a Study Space button above
- Select a Location
- When ready click on the Show Availability button
- Choose a date by clicking on the Go To Date icon and then select a time slot (all available slots appear in green)
Once you have submitted a booking form you will receive confirmation email.
Check In to your Study Space
- Check In when you arrive at your space
- Click on the Check In button above or using the URL link recieved in confirmation email or by scanning the QR code posted at the space
- Enter the code from the Confirmation Email you receive at the booking stage.
If you do not check in within the time limit as stated in your booking confirmation email your booking is automatically cancelled and the space becomes available for anyone to book.
Terms and Conditions
- Only registered UCD Students can book study spaces
- Students seeking entry to the library must have a valid UCD UCard
- You must use your UCD Connect login when booking a study space
- Bookings can be made up to one week in advance
- Seats are bookable for a maximum of eight hours per day (slots are bookable in 1-hour or 30 minute slots)
- You must check in when you arrive at the booked space, by using the URL link and check in code received in your booking confirmation email. If you do not check in within 15 minutes of the booking start time, your booking is automatically cancelled. This seat becomes available again for anyone to book.
- Cancel your booking if you know you will not make it in, to allow other patrons the chance to book. The cancellation link is in your confirmation email.
- Take all your belongings with you when vacating the study space.

Please ensure you keep your confirmation email as proof of your booking.
