UCD Library Discovery & Reading List Project

UCD Library is exploring ways to improve how students search for and access academic resources. As part of this discovery project, we are investigating:

• A potential new Discovery Platform – A system to replace OneSearch and make it easier to find books, journals, and electronic resources.
• A new Reading List Management System – A better way to access the materials your lecturers recommend for your modules.

Why Attend?

This workshop is your chance to share your experiences and influence future improvements. We want to hear:

• What works well in the current systems
• What challenges you face when searching for and using library resources
• What features would best support your studies

Your feedback will help us understand how students use the system and what improvements would make it more effective for your needs. While we are not implementing changes right now, your insights will inform the business case for a future system, shaping long-term improvements over the coming years.
