Am I Plagiarising? (IN PERSON) In-Person

This presentation is aimed at undergraduate students (especially First-Years), however, anyone new to academic writing is welcome.

Presentation Details:

Did you know that unintentional plagiarism is one of the largest pitfalls of academic writing and can get you in trouble? It is usually the result of incorrect citing/referencing and poor paraphrasing skills, and is thus quite easily avoidable.

This workshop aims to explain why academics use citations/references and to give students the knowledge to identify what plagiarism is, the different forms it can take, and how to avoid it in their work.
